What a delight!

From the warm welcome to the attentive service throughout, and the genuine interest in us and our background, the staff were friendly and helpful….only to be matched with the quality and plentiful servings of food. Good, home cooked food. I heartily recommend a meal there!

The George was a real delight for our annual gathering of 11 at rather short notice. A traditional pub with a delicious, vast menu catering for all tastes. The ambience was lovely along with great service, hearty portions at good value.
